The new ATD CI Certification portal opens April 1, and if you’ve been wondering if you’re ready and what you need to apply, this webcast is for you. Join Holly Batts and Sue Kaiden to learn more about how the new process will work.

What we’ll cover:

• information needed at the time of application
• the new audit process and what to do if audited

Holly Batts

Associate Director, ATD

Holly Batts is associate director of ATD's Certification Institute and has more than 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Her background in developing and maintaining certification programs includes mid- to high-stakes assessments, extensive work with organizing SMEs, and a thorough understanding of the certification process. She has a master of science degree in organizational leadership as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) certifications.
 


Susan Kaiden, APTD

Senior Project Manager, ATD

Sue Kaiden is the senior project manager, credentialing, for the ATD Certification Institute. In this role, she supports candidates throughout the decision and preparation process and manages recertification for APTD and CPLP credential holders. Prior to joining the CI team, she served as manager of the career development community at ATD, where she oversaw content and services related to career development, including ATD's job bank.

Before coming to ATD, she held executive and consulting roles in the healthcare, IT, and nonprofit sectors and founded a career coaching firm, CareerEdge. In addition, she started a job search support program for unemployed and underemployed people in the Philadelphia area, which she ran for 11 years. Through this program and her coaching practice, she helped hundreds of people find meaningful work. Kaiden is the author of “Keeping Your Career on Track” (TD at Work) and the editor of Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing a Job You'll Love, a book written with 16 top-notch career coaches that was published in October 2016. She holds a master of business administration degree from from Cornell University and recently achieved the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD).


Morgean Hirt
Morgean Hirt

Director of Credentialing, Association for Talent Development

As director of credentialing for the Association of Talent Development (ATD), Morgean Hirt has more than 25 years of experience in personnel certification and accreditation across a variety of professions. She provides strategic leadership and technical expertise in developing and implementing credentialing programs, focusing on test development, policy and standards development, program audits, strategic planning, and ANSI/ISO 17024 and NCCA accreditation. Believing that standards and certification enhance professionalism and credibility, Hirt has led a number of organizations through establishing industry standards for emerging professions, including clinical research, massage therapy, and mortgage brokering.

Prior to joining ATD, she served as an account executive at MetaCred, a boutique association management firm specializing in managing credentialing programs, and spent 12 years as president and CEO of Certified Fund Raising Executives International Credentialing Board, where she was responsible for establishing international support across six continents for a unified standard of fundraising practice. Hirt is also active with the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), having served as a member of the research fundraising committee, education committee, and annual conference program committee as well as a presenter at the ICE Exchange.
