Zach Pendleton is a product innovation and engineering leader at Instructure, a maker of leading education and people development software. His current focus and passion is in improving how employee engagement data can be used to create better organizations. Although a software engineer by trade, Zach is passionate about solving people problems using technology, and has found some of his greatest career satisfaction working with HR and L&D professionals to design products that solve the issues that keep them up at night.

Before Instructure, Zach worked with brands like Visa and Dog the Bounty Hunter (yes, really!) to develop products that improved customer engagement and simplified existing workflows. 

When he isn't at work you can usually find him trying a new restaurant. His other passions include finding better ways to work, hip hop, and Ernest Hemingway.
