If you are like most managers, you probably feel a heightened sense of anxiety when the budgeting process starts. You think of the many meetings, the difficult negotiations, and the dreaded cuts that often cause you to lock horns with your manager.

Budgeting is a time-consuming and difficult exercise. Resources are never enough, and management must balance the needs of all stakeholders. The good news, however, is that the budgeting process can be managed! The key to successful budgeting involves planning, organization, documentation, preparation, and follow-up.

In this webcast, we will provide a quick 10-step guide to help you plan, prepare, and defend a budget that is strategically aligned to your organization. After this webcast, you will be able to:

  • Evaluate your budgeting process.
  • Assess the gaps that create major challenges.
  • Identify specific actions you can take to improve the process.
