Senior Project Manager, ATD

Sue Kaiden is the Project Manager, Credentialing for the Association for Talent Development. In this role, Sue manages the preparation products used by candidates for the CPLP and APTD credentials. Prior to joining the CI team, Sue was the Manager of the Career Development community at ATD where she managed content and services related to career development, including ATD's job bank.

Before coming to ATD, Sue held executive and consulting roles in the healthcare, IT, and nonprofit sectors and founded a career coaching firm, CareerEdge. In addition, she started a job search support program for unemployed and underemployed people in the Philadelphia area which she ran for 11 years. Through this program and her coaching practice, Sue helped hundreds of people find meaningful work. Sue is the author of Keeping Your Career on Track (TD at Work) and the editor of Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing a Job You'll Love, a book written with 16 top-notch career coaches, published in October 2016. Sue holds an MBA from Cornell University, a BS from Miami University (Ohio), and is a certified Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory practitioner.  


Eliza Blanchard

Content Manager, ATD

Eliza Blanchard is a content manager at ATD, where she creates and curates content on instructional design, training delivery, measurement and evaluation, and managing the learning function. She also develops products and programs and plans events for talent development professionals. Prior to joining ATD, Eliza worked at a nonprofit consulting firm that helped organizations develop diversity and inclusion initiatives focusing on religion as an aspect of identity. Eliza earned her Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification in 2018.

Training Specialist, Vermeer

Mark McConnell is a Talent Development Specialist with Vermeer Corporation. His duties include instructional design, classroom facilitation, LMS administration, and coaching as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. In addition to being an APTD, he is a former ATD board member, serving as VP of Members & Ambassadors for the Central Iowa chapter. He earned his B.S. from the University of Northern Iowa and holds a graduate degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. He lives with his wife and 2 sons in Pella, IA.

Training Manager, Marcolin Eyewear

Ellen Katz is the Training Manager for Marcolin Eyewear, a manufacturer of multiple premium eyewear brands. Ellen has spent her entire professional life in the eyewear industry, falling into the training role at her previous company, Silhouette Optical, about 9 years ago and discovering a true passion for empowering others to achieve their goals through learning and development. When she's not working at being a one woman training department you'll likely find her chasing after her two young boys.


Bobbi Runte
Bobbi Runte

Training & Development, Landstar

Bobbi Runte is the training facilitator for the Rockford, IL location of Landstar System Holding Inc. She’s been with Landstar for 18 years and in the transportation industry for over 20 years. Bobbi was given the opportunity to take a leap from the operational side of the industry approximately 5 years ago when she stepped into the facilitator role. She had previously majored in education, and was able to take advantage of what she had learned in college in this new role. Bobbi earned her APTD credential in April of 2018. 


Holly Batts
Holly Batts

Associate Director, ATD

Holly Batts is associate director of ATD's Certification Institute, with more than 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Her background in developing and maintaining certification programs includes mid- to high-stakes assessments, extensive work with organizing SMEs, and a thorough understanding of the certification process. Holly has an MS in organizational leadership, as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Association Executive (CAE) certifications.
