As Watershed’s director of learning analytics strategy, Tim Dickinson is skilled in leading organizations through strategic changes and getting positive results through learning analytics. He bridges the language gap between developers and people with limited technical experience by translating complex ideas and trends into easy-to-understand explanations. He takes the time to understand clients’ unique needs and challenges so he can help implement the right solutions.
Tim has years of experience working in the software and technology arenas, which includes supporting, designing, and integrating various software platforms—ranging from learning analytics and ERP solutions to logistics tracking software and billing software.
James is the director of data science at Degreed, where he leads a team focused on leveraging analytics and machine learning to improve the experience of the learner. Prior, he was the director of insights and analytics at O'Reilly Media, and manager on the analytics team at Wayfair. In both roles he was involved in data engineering, analysis, and empowering the business with data and insights. James has a BS in computer science from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston College.
