A well-executed business simulation is designed to create aha moments, where knowledge and understanding translate to a change in behavior.

Each year, organizations spend billions on training, while thousands of professional courses are administered, and hundreds of business books are published. Arguably, these resources can teach us the skills we need to improve the way we operate and the way companies do business. But all of that leaves us asking ourselves, “If we have the knowledge we need, why don’t we act on it? If we’re so well-trained and informed, why aren’t we more effective?” In this respect, there is often a “knowing-doing” gap to be filled.

This webcast will explore how simulations can be used as an effective tool to bridge this gap and the benefits they can bring to learning and development within organizations. Using an MHS Assessments business simulation, Paper Planes Inc., the webcast will also examine elements of a live simulation in action.

Drawing on her own experience of working with organizations and teams, presenter Tanya Sheehan will provide insights that will help you understand how simulation activities can be a valuable addition to any learning and development toolkit.
