Talent development reporting principles (TDRp) is an effort by leaders in the learning and development and HR fields to establish best practices and standards for measuring, reporting, and managing human capital. Accounting has standards for classifying and defining measures and creating statements, as well as a host of processes to use those measures and statements to improve organizational results. Isn’t it time we had something similar?

This webcast will introduce the TDRp framework and discuss how it can help practitioners plan, measure, and manage to deliver business impact using a standard, yet flexible, approach that will help you become a valued, strategic business partner. Examples will be provided for learning and development.

In particular, Dave Vance, executive director of the Center for Talent Reporting, will discuss:

  • what types of measures should be reported
  • how to organize measures into three standard TDRp statements
  • how to create three management reports from the key measures in the three statements
  • how to show alignment and expected impact of talent initiatives
  • how to use the reports to execute with discipline.
