Almost every leadership skills trainer alive will tell you that the active, participant-driven, cooperative, hands-on teaching approach known as facilitation is especially effective for teaching leadership skills to executive candidates. First, we’ve all seen it work ourselves and, second, we’ve heard tons of anecdotes from other teachers and their students about the power and effectiveness of facilitative training in leadership. However, there isn’t much evidence that facilitative teaching of leadership actually works!

In this webinar, we’re going to see what we know anecdotally, whether any research backs up what we know, and finally what kinds of studies might further test the value of facilitative leadership education.

After this webinar, you’ll learn:

  • exactly why facilitation produces the best leadership candidates
  • the reasons facilitation transforms learners into leaders
  • how you can make facilitation work with even the most resistant trainees
  • the “acid test” that facilitative leadership training passed with flying colors
  • why businesses acclaim, but never test, facilitative leadership training
  • how businesses can still know facilitative leadership training will work for them.
