Ruth Clark is a specialist in instructional design and technical training, determined to bridge the gap between academic research and practitioner application in instructional methods. She holds a doctorate in the field and is president of her own company, Clark Training & Consulting. Her books and articles focus on various aspects of training and e-learning.
Catherine Lombardozzi is a career workplace learning professional with nearly 30 years experience in the field. She founded the consulting practice, Learning 4 Learning Professionals, which is dedicated to supporting the professional development of designers, facilitators, learning consultants, and learning leaders. Having worked in leadership roles in corporate learning and development for 20+ years, she understands the challenges of our day to day work. She frequently contributes to local and international conferences in our field, and she teaches adult learning, instructional design, and related courses in several graduate programs. Catherine earned a doctoral degree in human and organizational learning from George Washington University, has authored several published articles, and is an occasional contributor to the Re:Search column for T+D magazine. Christine Cox a professor in the Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the New York University Langone Medical Center. She received her B.A. in cognitive science and philosophy from Tulane University in New Orleans and her Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Arizona.
Dr. Cox's main areas of interest include the use of neuroimaging techniques (e.g., functional MRI) to investigate the neural correlates of social cognitive abilities in both neurotypical and clinical populations. Her research has focused on the neural correlates of empathy, emotion regulation, risk perception, and negative stereotypes and prejudice. She has taught classes on Morality in Childhood, Cognitive Psychology, Neuroimaging Methods, and Human Memory, and has guest lectured for NLI on the Social Neuroscience of Uncertainty and Ambiguity.
Dr. Cox has published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, NeuroImage, Biological Psychiatry, and PLoS ONE. She is a member of the Social and Affective Neuroscience Society, the Society for Neuroscience, the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, and the New York Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Andrews has 21 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. She is experienced in Training, Sales, and Medical Science Liaison roles across multiple therapeutic areas. Dr. Andrews is responsible for leading, developing and implementing training to support Global Drug Development within R&D at Allergan. She holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and M.B.A. degrees from Pepperdine University, and a B.A. in Psychology degree from University of California, Irvine.
