Haver & Boecker manufactures metal wire mesh for various different areas of use and brings it individually into a form as a filter mesh for filtration of water as well as other applications. The result is fresh water which is clean, clear and gushes quietly out of the water tap or treated drinking water, sea water, ballast water as well as dirty water.
Through selection of the type of weave and the material used, the mechanical, chemical and physical properties can be adapted to the requirements of the respective application. Thus the filter cylinders which are used for treatment of ballast water have the required corrosion resistance.
Selection of the individual support layers and the filter layer is of great importance for influencing the efficiency of the filtration. Dependent on the desired permeable pore size and the required throughflow, the filter layer is a mesh with square meshes or a MINIMESH® metal filter cloth.
